CELL BIOLOGY OF INFLAMMATION
ENDOCORNEA. Corneal endothelial barrier disruption by osmotic and inflammatory stress.
Joint project between IIS-FJD and CSIC

Funded by the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria from Fundación Jiménez Díaz, we have started a project to investigate the inflammatory response of corneal endothelial barriers, which are essential to maintain the homeostasis and deturgescence of the cornea. Our aim is to indentify targets to preserve corneal endothelial barrier function in response to different types of cellular stress.
